Septic shock

Septic shock, anaphylactic shock and neurogenic shock are all found in the broader category of distributive shock. Distributive shock occurs secondary to massive vasodilation causing an increase in capillary permeability which leads to intervascular volume deficits that lead to tissue hypoxia.
