Shepard Smith is an American TV news anchor. He is host of the "FOX Report with Shepard Smith" on FOX News. He was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi.
Smith was arrested in Florida in November 2000 for aggravated battery with a motor vehicle. The apparent victim was another reporter. Both Smith and the other reporter were in Florida covering the Florida election debacle during the 2000 United States presidential election.
