Simon Schama

Simon Schama (born 1945) is a professor of History at Columbia University and author of numerous works on history and art, including Landscape and Memory, Dead Certainties, and Rembrant's Eyes. He is most famous for writing and hosting the 15-part BBC documentary series A History of Britain.
