Socialism in One Country
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

The Socialism in one country theory is the foundation of Stalinist socialism. The theory is in opposition to the Permanent Revolution theory supported by Lenin and Trotsky, which stated that the success of the Soviet Union relied upon revolutions in Europe and across the world. Stalin believed that the Soviet Union could survive without other socialist countries.
