Sonny Sharrock

Sonny Sharrock (August 27, 1940 - May 25, 1994) was an American jazz guitarist. He collaborated with Pharoah Sanders in the late 1960s, and was a member of the punk/jazz band Last Exit. Sharrock was semi-retired until coaxed into perfoming by bassist Bill Laswell. Sonny's most well-known work today is likely the soundtrack to the Cartoon Network program Space Ghost: Coast to Coast.
