Dr. Ho Hung-sun, Stanley
Stanley Ho Hung-sun (born November 25, 1921 in Hong Kong) is a famous person in both Hong Kong and Macau.
He owns many properties in both Hong Kong and Macau, and he is very rich. Especially in Macau, he has taken part in both entertainment and tourism, which contribute about one third of gross domestic product in Macau.
Dr. Ho is sometimes nicknamed "The King of Gambling". He has controled the gaming industry in Macau for more than 35 years. He owns 8 casinos in total, the Casino Lisboa is the most famous one in Macau. He is over 80 years old and is still active in many social activities e.g. charity show.
Dr. Ho Hung-sun is also a famous industrialist and entrepreneur in Asia, who held a number of important positions in many firms in Hong Kong and Macau.

There is no doubt that he was high-born. His family was one of the most powerful and influential families at that time. His great-grandfather was a British who married a woman from Guangdong. Their eldest son was Ho Tung and the next one was Ho Fook, Dr. Stanley Ho's grandfather. Ho Sai Kwong, one of Ho Fook's sons, have 13 children. Dr. Stanley Ho is the 9th child.
Dr. Ho studied in Queen's College and at the University of Hong Kong. He lived in Ricci Hall during his university life and was an active hall member. After years of fruitful university life, he obtained a honorary doctorate of social sciences.
Dr. Ho started to do clerical work in a Japanese-owned import-export firm. Then, in 1941, he left his home. In 1961, he set up the company with his brother, Mr. Teddy Yip, in order to bid casino in Macau. His Family
