Terschelling is an island in the northern Netherlands, one of the Wadden islands, in the province of Friesland. It forms a municipality, with a population of 4,766 and an area of 674.00 km² (of which 584.65 km² is water; 89.35 km² is land).
The municipality of Terschelling consists the following towns, villages and townships: Baaiduinen, Formerum, Hee, Hoorn, Horp, Kaard, Kinnum, Landerum, Lies, Midsland, Midsland aan Zee, Oosterend, Seerijp, West aan Zee, West-Terschelling.
