Their music generally consists of very dense layers of hip hop party jams, sampled speech and rock guitars plus other 'found' sounds. This makes for a very abrasive overall sound. Though they are most famous for their pioneering work with Public Enemy they have produced for other artist including, among others, rapper Ice Cube and Welsh rock band The Manic Street Preachers.
