The Diggers

• The diggers (Levellers) were group begun by Gerrard Winstanley in 1649 during Oliver Cromwell's England;
• The diggers (theater) were a radical left-wing guerilla theater group from 1966-68, based in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco;
• The diggers (ANZAC) was a popular term used to describe Australian and New Zealand servicemen during World War I.
