In the anime and manga One Piece, the fictional Pirate King is the strongest pirate alive and owner of the legendary treasure known as The One Piece.
The Previous Pirate King, Gold Roger, hid the One Piece deep inside The Grand Line somewhere before he was caught and executed. Because nobody has yet found the One piece, there currently is no new Pirate King.
