The film The Terrorist portrays the last weeks of the life of a 19 year old woman, Malli, sent to commit a suicide bombing of a leader in South Asia (originally in Tamil, so easily seen as the allegedly Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam assassination of Rajiv Gandhi). The film was released in 1998.
