Thioether
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

A thioether is similar to an ether, however an atom of sulphur is found instead of oxygen. The chemical properties of both atoms are similar, as they are in the same group in the periodic table. Essentually it is an (-S-) structure, and it is also found in the amino acid, Methionine.
