Thornborough is a village in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in the Aylesbury Vale, about two miles east of Buckingham.

The village name is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means 'hill where thorn trees grow'. It was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Torneberge.
