Tsushima subprefecture is located in Nagasaki, Japan. Ethnically, the people on the island is closer to Koreans. It has been claimed by the First Korean President Rhee Syngman as Daemado to be part of Korea. Tsushima strait is called Namhae in Korean meaning South Sea.
