The University of San Francisco is a Catholic Jesuit university in the United States. It was founded in 1855 and is located in San Francisco, California.
Famous alumni include Pierre Salinger, press secretary under President John F. Kennedy, Peruvian president Alejandro Toledo, National Football League stars Gino Marchetti, Ollie Matson and Bob St. Clair, and National Basketball Association stars Bill Russell, K.C. Jones and Bill Cartwright.
