Two ships of the United States Navy have been named USS Valley Forge, in memory of the hardships of the winter at Valley Forge during the American Revolutionary War.
- The first Valley Forge (CV-45) was an aircraft carrier commissioned in 1946, active in the Korean War, converted to an amphibious assault ship LPH-8, and serving in the Vietnam War until decommissioning in 1970.
- The second Valley Forge (CG-50) is a guided missile cruiser commissioned in 1986 and on active service as of 2004.
