Vratislav I
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Vratislav I was duke of Bohemia (915-921). Vratislav's father was Borivoj, Duke of Bohemia, who acceded in 870 and died in 895. He was the first (historically known) Premyslid (Přemyslovec in Czech) duke of Bohemia. Vratislav's brother was Spytihnev, Duke of Bohemia (895-915). Vratislav I had two sons, Václav and Boleslav. He died (possibly in 919, although 921 is more often conjectured) in battle against the Magyars
