Wingles is a chief town of canton of northern France, in the département of Pas-de-Calais, district of Lens. It belongs to the community of agglomeration of Lens-Liévin, which gathers 36 communes, and has a population of 250,000 inhabitants.
Population (1999): 8,728 inhabitants for the city and 22,367 inhabitants for the canton. Its postal code is 62410.
