Yamato (大和町; -chou) is a town located in Saga District, Saga, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 22,105 and a density of 398.86 persons per km². The total area is 55.42 km².
The town was established as a village in 1955, and promoted to a town in 1959.History
