Zhumadian is a city in Henan province, China.
History: Its previous name was Yi cheng,for it was a relay station. In Tang Dynasty, the emperor ordered his soldiers carry litchies from Guang Dong to his charming princess yang who loved to eat litchies.And Zhu ma dian was one of the relay stations.
Agriculture: Mainly wheat,corn,peanut,sesame,green-bean and tobacco.
Culture: Zhu ma dian have a brilliant cultural background and there are many great people in ancient times. There is a old site of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai who are the characters in BUTTERFLY.
Transportation: It is very convenient. One of the chinese main highways, Road 107 run through Zhu ma dian .And also Zhu ma dian has its own transportation system.
